The characteristic nature of chiffon is that light passes through like tissue paper. The sheerness means even a large scarf can be scrunched and cocooned into a much smaller piece (1/3 of it's original size) or expanded (butterfly effect) as needed. These scarves therefore work as both a subtle day look scrunched up or as a night-time centrepiece: spread over shoulders. Contrast with white pants, or fashionably blend with a similar colour palette.
